(EMAILWIRE.COM, December 04, 2012 ) San Francisco, CA -- The Cleaning Fairy concept may sound like a dream that is, until you get the bill. The “Cleaning Fairy” comes to your house, cleans and tidies up, and then leaves. However, for one American customer, that domestic fairytale turned into a horror story.
Ohio police charged Susan Warren, of Cleveland, with attempting burglary for entering the home of resident Sherry Bush.
Warren entered the house, entered the house with cleaning equipment to wash various items in the house, vacuum, and took out the trash in the Bush home. However, Warren also left a note on the Bush's counter. That note, was a bill that stated “$75 I was here to clean.”
When questioned about why she entered the home, Warren stated that she was bored and simply “wanted something to do”.
Ms. Bush was not home at the time of the incident, but her daughter had been present in the house, asleep upstairs at the time of the peculiar cleaning.
"I think our jaws just dropped to the ground," Ms Bush said. "I said, what happened, did you get the wrong house? She said, 'no, I do this all the time.' I said, ‘what do you mean?’ She said, 'I just stop and clean your house'."
Bush was able to find some humor in the incident, now that all were safe and nothing unfortunate occurred of the incident for the family, saying :“Now that we've seen the job that she did, it was like whoa, $75? $15 maybe.”.
Warren claimed to own a cleaning business, yet had been previously convicted of a similar crime in the nearby area. She has since pleaded guilty in a court and was sentenced to community services.
