(EMAILWIRE.COM, April 05, 2013 ) San Francisco, CA -- Young megastar, Justin Beiber, has posted a note on his Instagram, stating that he does not deserve the onslaught of negative press he is continually hit with.
The Canadian singer has come under fire for appearing two hours late for his first show at the London O2 Arena, which caused many young fans and parents to leave early to catch scheduled trains home.
Things only became worse after he was sent to the hospital after taking ill on stage. He then had an instance wherein he was restrained by bodyguards during an argument with a photographer.
Bieber wrote: "Everyone in my team has been telling me, 'keep the press happy' but I'm tired of all the countless lies in the press right now." The 19-year-old has 7.3 million Instagram followers, a number far short of his Twitter tally, where he has almost 36 million, making his the most followed account on the site.
While countering rumors he had disappointed his family, the young star stated his grandparents would not know how to contact the press, even if they had been upset. Beiber denied reports that he was heading to rehab. In his statement he noted
"If Anyone believes I need rehab that's their own stupidity lol. I'm 19 with 5 number one albums, 19 and I've seen the whole world."
He finished off by saying: "And don't think I deserve all this negative press I've worked my ass off to get where I am and my hard work doesn't stop here... All this isn't easy. I get angry sometimes. I'm human. I'm gonna make mistakes. In gonna grow and get better from them. But all the love from you guys overcomes the negativity. I love u. Thanks."
In an earlier version that he had posted, Beiber jibed at Lindsay Lohan, "And to those comparing me to Lindsey Lohan, look at her 2012 tax statements ;)" That statement was removed later while the remainder of the contact remained the same.
