Ask 10 people what their favorite protein shake is and you will get 10 different answers. Clearly, people have different opinions on how to take protein and what are the best sources for protein.
BestOrganicProtein.Com (BOP) wanted to take a more scientific approach to finding the best protein powder on the market. In looking at protein powder reviews BOP was surprised by the lack of science that was involved. Almost all of the protein powder reviews focused on taste and subjective measures.

Whey and Soy proteins were eliminated because numerous people have allergies and health issues with whey and soy protein. This is not to say that some people tolerate whey or soy without issue, but the goal was to find a protein powder that the cast majority of the population could enjoy without side effects or issues.
The focus of the report quickly turned to Rice and Hemp protein based supplements. Rice Protein and Hemp protein are very well tolerated and packed with amino acids. The one potential downside is that they are not always easily absorbed into the system.
