(EMAILWIRE.COM, May 22, 2013 ) Los Angeles, CA -- Recently, German Cancer Research Center has conducted a study on Electric Cigarettes in which 3,587 users participated with the purpose to find out its effect on Vapers. Study results that 77 percent of participants said that they were using electric cigarette to quit smoking while 79 percent participants wanted to reduce the craving of tobacco cessation and 67 percent of them believe that it reduces withdrawal symptoms.
After the results of the study, Dr. Martina Potschke-Langer, head of the Unit Cancer Prevention and the WHO Collaborating Centre for Tobacco Control at DKFZ says, “Consumers should be able to trust that a product is safe and not harmful to health and this is not the case with electronic cigarettes,” Martina also reports that Consumers are using electronic cigarettes without any idea that how it effects them.
As these smokeless cigarettes consist of Nicotine, a substance that may cause airway irritation and allergic reactions, it is believed that a lot of research is still needed on it to evaluate its quality, ingredients and efficacy on Vapers.
