(EMAILWIRE.COM, May 23, 2013 ) New York, NY -- Spring is here and summer is just around the corner. Now is the time when parents are trying to figure out ways to get the kids off their electronics and playing outside. To help parents out, DadDoes.Com has created their Guide to The Best Outdoor Toys of 2013
Kids today need a strong incentive to put down the iPad, drop the Xbox and play outside. The collection of toys and games in the Best Outdoor Toy Guide will have any kid (and even the parents) begging to go outside and play until the sun goes down.
Topping the outdoor toy list is the Razor Trikke E2. The Trikke E2 is a 3 wheel scooter that kids can move by carving left to right, as if skiing. Of course, the other option is to turn the throttle on the handlebar and have the twin 12 volt batteries kick in and power the front motor at about 9 MPH.
“Kids will absolutely love the Razor Trikke E2. There is just something about twisting the throttle and watching this 3 wheel scooter go. The batteries should last about 40 minutes, but even once they die, the kids can carver to move the Trikke” states Dan Nessel of DadDoes.Com
Kids love toys that shoot and fly and the Outdoor Toy guide is filled with these toys. There is Sky Ripperz that flings rockets 250 feet in the air with a hand held bungee launched. There are also the Zoom Rocketz, simply stomp down and watch the foam rockets blast up to 200 feet in the air.
For kids who love RC planes, this year there is the Air Hog Sky Stunt plane. Use the remote control to make the foam plan do tricks - dives, loops and corkscrews. Kids will love how easy it is to do tricks, simply press a button on the remote.
What about the child who loves stunt planes but does not want to wait for the constant battery recharges? In this case, Dad Does recommends the SkyTrix from Daydream Toy. The SkyTrix requires no batteries and is part kite, part Yo-Yo and part stunt glider.
The Top Outdoor Game and Toys Guide currently has 10 brand new toys for 2013. Dad Does does refer to the guide as a living guide. New toys will be added to the list as Dad Does completes additional toy reviews.
Nessel concludes, “With the toys we have on our outdoor toys list, kids will have a blast playing outside. There is a little bit of something for everyone. In addition, we are working on some additional toy reviews, so the list will be growing ever week.”
