(EMAILWIRE.COM, July 01, 2013 ) San Francisco, CA -- Logic Technology, the electronic cigarette maker announced that Keith Ablow, MD, will personally be conducting a clinical study of the Logic e-cig in order to determine the effectiveness of reduction or total elimination of tobacco products. Dr. Ablow has previously reported that three individuals in a previous study ceased to smoke altogether after being given an e-cigarette as part of a study.
The study is being sponsored by Logic, and Dr. Ablow will be conducting, as well as monitoring, patients' reactions to using e-cigs. He will look to quantify the product's general effectiveness in the transition from standard smoking items, as well is the possibility of the product removing all smoking inclination.
The study will be held over a 12-week span and will offer patients the ability to try an e-cig. Ablow has stated that patients will be measured on their usage interest and actual use.
