The chart lists the number of fatalities, injuries, and cost of damage (millions) for each weather condition.
According to the infographic, 1.062 injuries were a result of extreme heat. This tops the list in terms of injuries sustained, while drought, dust storms, and extreme cold produced zero injuries. In terms of fatalities, 155 people perished in 2012 due to extreme heat. Hail and drought resulted in zero deaths. Drought, however, joined high winds and tornadoes as weather conditions that produced the most monetary damages.
