(CityRegions.Com, July 21, 2018 ) Houston, Texas -- NOMA, a charitable organization is inviting the Cameroon Houston communities and Houstonians at large to have a delightful evening at the gala and to raise funds to give hope to the people of Manyu.
Members of NOMA will be coming from all over the United States and from Houston community to hold a convention with the objective to raise funds for the needs of Manyu people. Each year the none-profit and apolitical organization holds a convention. Last year the convention was held in Boston, MA. This year, members are convening in Houston, Texas to discuss future developmental issues of the area, and raise funds to meet the basic needs of people who are internally displaced because of the on going conflict in Cameroon.
The discussion of developmental issues will be held on Saturday August 11 from 9 AM to 4 PM at the Royall Hall, 11933 Bissonnet, Houston TX 77099. In the evening, from 8 PM to 2:00 AM, the conventioneers and the Cameroon Houston community will grace the hall with a gala night. DJ Swallo, one of Houston's top DJs will be playing Manyu, Cameroon, Nigerian and Afro pop music for the guest to dance the night away.
While there will music, dancing and lots of fun, there will be interludes for attendees of the gala to discuss charitable issues and raise funds. It will be, in most part, a night to dance to the bits of music from coming from DJ Swallo. Funds donations during this fundraising gala are all tax deductible.
